I'D RATHER BE IN CORNWALL CLUB

a relocator praising business support in cornwall 11th March 2009

6:30 pm One Aldwych London WC2B 4RH

Our speaker is Sarah Trethowan, Director of Trac Services

Sarah will be sharing the challenges and her personal experienced face during the relocation of her business to Cornwall from the South East

Sarah Trethowan and her husband Jonathan established their regulatory affairs consultancy from scratch over 8 years ago.  Now employing 11 people and serving the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sector, Sarah admitted that building up a successful business was not always straightforward or easy.  However, through a combination of their own hard work and determination, working initially from their own spare room, they now boast a client list of multinational pharmaceutical companies.  Sarah also ascribed part of their success to the availability of quality business support in Cornwall, assisting them with recruitment (Unlocking Cornish Potential), IT systems (Actnow) and general support, including networking, marketing and PR (InvestinCornwall).  Without this level of support, Trac would have found the challenge of establishing a new business even more daunting.

The event is co-sponsored by Newquay Cornwall Airport, who will announce the introduction of a new twice daily route to London’s City Airport operated by Air Southwest, targeted specifically at the business community.
